Squamish Nation Alert is an emergency notification system that enables Squamish Nation Administration to communicate important information quickly in the event of emergencies. Register today and know you’ll have the up-to-date information you need during an emergency.
When an emergency occurs, telephone, text or email messages will be sent to all registered contacts in the impacted area. The system enables us to provide you with critical information in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, wildfire, floods, debris flows, unexpected road closures, and any other emergency events that could impact you, your family and your community.
Squamish Nation Alert is powered by ePACT emergency network. This service is being offered FREE to all Squamish Nation families living in Squamish, North Vancouver, West Vancouver and off-reserve in the Lower Mainland. The District of Squamish also has an emergency notification sign-up page that you can visit here.
In addition to emergency notifications, we can use this system to keep you up to date about important Squamish Nation events such as changes to venue and other special announcements from Chiefs and Council.
You will have ownership of your account and your information in the system. ePACT’s security standards meet those of online banks, and your information is never shared without your permission.
